From the moment planners select Pittsburgh as a convention site until the last delegate departs, VisitPittsburgh is available with a variety of services to make meetings run smoothly.

Program Planning

Sit back and relax. The selection of products and services for your meeting won't be overwhelming. Fill out our lead request form and VisitPittsburgh takes the worry out of your planning by distributing leads to all appropriate member organizations that, in turn, will provide detailed information directly to you.

Facilities

Whether you are planning a meeting for 20 or 20,000, VisitPittsburgh will help you find the perfect facilities and accommodations. At your request, hotel meeting facilities will be notified of your meeting requirements in order to submit competitive proposals for your consideration.

Housing

VisitPittsburgh's housing department offers reservation services if your meeting will use three or more hotels hosting 1000 rooms on peak night. You will love the features of this Internet-based reservations software, such as 24/7 shared access to critical event information, real-time reports, and the ability to book hotel rooms around the clock.

Promotion

It's easy to show your delegates why they should attend your group's Pittsburgh meeting. VisitPittsburgh provides promotional brochures in quantities for advance mailings to prospective attendees. A video, photos on CD and other collateral materials are available to help boost attendance. In addition, on-site attendance-building support is available for citywide conventions by our Convention Services staff prior to your Pittsburgh meeting upon request. Also, our Marketing + Communications Department will assist with media relations by request.

Registration

Experienced registrars are available to assist with delegate registration, including room monitors, cashiers and data entry clerks.

Restaurant + Reservation Assistance

Delegates are able to explore their dining options at the VisitPittsburgh's Restaurant Information and Reservation Booth. This staffed, on-site service is offered to conventions with 1,000 or more delegates on a complimentary basis and is available to groups smaller than 1,000 for a modest fee. With access to menus and brochures for more than 140 restaurants, your delegates will be sure to find the perfect setting for an evening meal, business lunch or power breakfast.
